What should we do?

Dear Sir
I have applied on 17 Aug,2000 as the main applicant and my ex-husband as my spouse. As I'm an Iranian,I applied in Damascus. I got divorced 2 months later and informed the embassy with all necessary documents. My file was supposed to be assessed within 24 months but now 30 months has passed and there is no news. I am a MEDICAL LABORATORY TECHNOLOGIST, with 4 years of work experience(It was 1 year when I applied) and 30 years old, I have excellent knowledge of English and French,so I was qualified for immigrating with the former assessment system, and I think that I will qualify with the new one(I have used a self assessment tool and obtained a grade of 73 with new criteria). My fiance has applied on 27 Jul,2000, he was qualified with the former assessment system, but now and under the new rules he has got 67 points.
Now we don't know what to do, can we get married to increase our points by 5? If the answer is YES, should I be the main applicant? Does it have any effect on our prossessing time? And if the answer is NO, what do you recommend?

Regards

Shaparak R.Malek
