Jay Howard speaks of the MELODY word in the Old Testament. A second word is Zamar. We showed that MELODY in Amos speaks of the Israel under the DEATH SENTENCE because they "rose up to play" in Musical idolatry at Mount Sinai and refused to repent. Lucifer is seen as a SINGING and HARP-PLAYING prostitute.
Farmer's Branch Church of Christ: "These Greek words in the Septuagint (The Greek Old Testament) stand for the Hebrew words "zamar", to make music vocally and instrumentally, and "nagan", to touch or play a stringed instrument, corresponding to "psallo"; and "mitzmor", the sound of a harp, then, words sung to the sound of harp, i. e., a song, corresponding to "psalmos". The Hebrew word "mitzmor" is the word for the Psalms of the Old Testament. (Note: References to the Septuagint, which was the Greek Old Testament, are import ant because it was the 'bible" of the first century Christians.)
The Hebrew word for psalm is:
Mizmowr (h4210) miz-more'; from 2167; prop. instrumental music; by impl. a poem set to notes: - psalm.
However, this speaks of the PRUNING HOOK and NOT music. This is true because these "melody" words speak of PRUNING your vines to take your inheritance and of the "shaggy goat" who is the personification of PAN and this speaks of the end time BEAST: his "horns" are musical instruments and he THRUSTS in the sickle about now.

However, itis a FACT that almost ALL INSTRUMENTAL psalms speak of Judgment, wrath and were to be SPOKEN as a way to TEACH AND ADMONISH one another by memorizing the key events of the underlying PROSE history of Israel. Remember, they are HISTORY and not a song book.

Psalm 33 includes both the psaltery and timbrel are named. The timbrel was not allowed in the temple. Other instrumental accompaniment speak of processionals, new moons, symbolic, vengeance, arousal or awakening the harp, fear of being cast off, historical warning, prophetic. See Arndt-Gingrich
Paul insisted that the Psalms were to TEACH one another and NEVER connected them to WORSHIP. We can speak or sing about bashing out the brains of baby Babylonians but we CANNOT use it as an approved PATTERNISM for worship. Church is SCHOOL OF THE BIBLE and not a WORSHIP CENTER.
"Some of the psalms express a tribalistic hatred of foreign powers; even the beautiful laments of the exiles 'by the waters of Babylon,' for example, concludes with the assurance that the daughter of Babylon will be destroyed. 'Happy shall he be, that taketh and dasheth the little ones against the stones.'
"But in nearly a third of the collection the 'enemies' whose death the psalmist so confidently prays for and anticipates are not Gentile nations,
but individual Jews who do not share the religious conviction of the Hasidim (Pharisees). In the words of Psalm 58, 'the righteous shall rejoice when he seeth the vengeance: he shall wash his feet in the blood of the wicked. So that a man shall say, Verily there is reward for the righteous: verily he is a God that judgeth in the earth." (Parkes, Henry Bamford, Gods and Men The Origins of Western Culture, p. 134, Knopf)
We can believe that because the Psalms were to TEACH and ADMONISH and not to SING to God as "worship" or seen as APPROVED EXAMPLES!!
"Even the loftiest psalm, a truly spiritual creation of music or literature, served a more or less definable purpose. The functions of music were: merrymaking, dance, minstrelsy, lament, accompaniment of exalted prophetic utterances, mnemonics, magic, theurgy, working songs, military signals and calls, and, of course the liturgical CHANT of the temple and synagogue." (Interpreters Dictionary of the Bible, p. 461, Abingdon).
Therefore, the "melody" (grinding to bits) is not BACK UP MUSIC to spiritual warning but to induce fear:

The word ZAMAR is related to "trimming the vine" or taking the inheritance rather than MAKE MUSIC. NAGA gets you right back to the FALL in the garden of Eden with leadership approval. Similar words such as Halal make it clear that "taking your inheritance" while PLAYING THE FLUTE was to polllute or prostitute you. Nagan comes from the vineyard at GATH where the naked grape stompers played their harps and PLAYED with one another.

You remember that the other word for melody, NAGAN, is connected to the WINE VAT at Gath. Ancient Greeks illustrated this is a musician played as the naked and perverted stompers danced out more than grape juice.

And Chalal (h2490) included triming your vine to take your inheritance.
All musical terms intend to create anxiety as a POWER TOOL. Therefore, this word for melody is connected to the word:
Camar (h5568) saw-mar'; a prim. root; to be erect, i. e. bristle as hair: - stand up, tremble.
Then a spirit passed before my face; the hair of my flesh stood up: Job 4:15
My flesh trembleth for fear of thee; and I am afraid of thy judgments. Ps.119:120

PAN is the BEAST blowing his "horns." This is the dual flute a very PERVERTED marker. If musical melody as the WORKS OF HUMAN HANDS is desired by God to pleasure or appease Him why is it that EVERY musical term or name of instrument points direct to Satan, prostitutes, Sodomites, Warriors or those MOCKING the types of Lord Jesus Christ in their LIKE THE NATION'S temples?
Why is it that the HOSTILE TAKE OVER TEAM can grasp universities right out of the hands of their OWNERS? and church houses of widows slick enough to send thousands of old "grey hairs" to their graves with bitter tears?
I can tell you: they ARE hostile to the Word of God and they HATE those who permit them to function as SORCERERS and PARASITES. As prophesied, people are TERRIFIED and want to get on the MUSICAL TEAM becaus they know that the prophesy is that anone who can lie, cheat and steal your college or church by perverting the Word of God will DO YOU HARM. Intrinsic in these groups is that they are the AGENTS of God to reward those who receive the MARK and destroy those who wont BOW down when the clergy pipes. Yes! The SHEPHERDING craze insists that they are training WARRIORS.

What Happened At the Madison Church of Christ?
There are thousands of churches being taken over across America.
This book is only about one of those churches. It's about the Madison
Church Of Christ. By studying the methods used here along with the resource
references you might be able to inoculate your church. At the very least
you will recognize the signs early on.
Many of the current members of the Madison Church of Christ still don't
know what happened.
Some never will know! This book is for them as well.
Madison Church of Christ was a 60 year old church. At one time it was
one of the largest churches in the US, and the largest Church of Christ.
It thrived for many years on the vision of it's elders and those of
it's ministers. Those visions undoubtably came from the the inspired word
of Jesus Christ.
At sometime in the last 10 years there was a deliberate plan by a majority
of the elders to take the Madison Church of Christ into a more worldly
realm.
They used secrecy, covert planning, and outside sources to scheme and
to change the format and direction of the Madison Church of Christ.
The Elders knew that the membership would never approve such a plan.
Using the tools of the "Community Church Movement"(consultants, books,
seminars, meetings,planters,seeders) they slowly started initiating change
so it was never noticed by the members until it was too late.....
At the heart of the plan was the fact that old members were going to
be driven off so new techniques could be used to go out and reach the unchurched
through new "Contemporary Holy Entertainment" methods developed by the
"Community Church Movement"
Old members had to be kept on board long enough to get their plans ready,
or the funds would not be there to pay for the new building. So by the
plans very nature, it had to be secret.
The church had no plan in effect to renew or approve elders. There was
never any need. The elders had always been "as approved by God". 10 of the last
15 elders would begin to shed some doubt on that.
The Elders did not even need a majority at first, because some of the
elders went along unwittingly.
This edition starts shortly after some of the members begin to smell
something strange in January 2001. Later editions may go back and fill
in some of the timeline.
