Do things the scriptural way

The Bible tells us that if we have a problem with our brother (or sister) then we are to GO TO THEM, if they will not listen we are to take another with us, if they STILL WILL NOT LISTEN we are to go to the elders, and if they do not listen to us and the elders we are to be separated from them. Please tell me how having this site is fullfilling what God has commanded us to do. If you have a problem with RHCC, go to the person you have a problem with. If you have a problem with our eldership then GO AND SPEAK TO THEM. Every Sunday they are in room 109 waiting to talk to you about anything! May God have mercy on the souls of those who are trying to cause division. Please remember with the mercy you give, God will give you and with the forgiveness you give, God will give you.

Amen, Brother...

You are so right! I should just do what the Bible has said all along if my conscience is offended, instead of blathering on and on with my ridiculous diatribe. It seems I've lost my head, however, which is too bad, because until I find it and remember the password to the self-destruct button for this harmful website, it will stay up and be devisive, something the Lord doesn't want at all!

I have visited with numerous times with a number of our elders. The answer is "no public meetings to discuss this, It's a done deal, blindly obey and keep quiet." Maybe you would feel better if you talked to them. I assure you my only motive is other peoples souls. I love RHCC--I just think they are being led astray. Elvin

I know these Elders. I respect them, and know that they are men of honor and principle. I also know that they are dedicated to biblical principles. If they feel strongly enough about something to make a change, then it goes a VERY long way toward my acceptance of it.

Elvin, I appreciate your concerns

February 25 2002, 12:21 PM

As stated I do appreciate your concerns and know that you are sincere. I have met you and observed your demeanor at RHCC and have no doubts about your sincerity. I to would have preferred that we have advance warning and teaching about the reasoning behind the decisions. I don't know yet why that was not done. However, I see little difference in the current structure and the previous situation when we had many ministries designated as"Non Deacon Led Ministries" that were led by women. I don't always agree with anyone I have ever known, including my wife, but RHCC has been and continues to be a Godsend for me and my family. I was 50 years old before I knew that it existed. My first 50 years was spent with congregations whose only concerns were Sunday School classes, which they opposed and locatwed ministers, which they supported. As you may have guessed, I exaggerate, but these were their main concerns. This brand of so called religion almost destroyed me and did irreparable harm to my family. May God forgive those who major in minors and destroy people in their wake. Glyn Williams RHCC member since 1986

I have talked to our elders. I have also studied the word deacon in the Greek and Hebrew. It all means a servant. That is exactly what the special servants are. I understand your concern that the elders did not tell everyone ahead of thime, but they did not feel they were doing away with deacons, but chose another name for them. Please go speak to them again!

Elvin:
Did you ever think the Elders just " maybe"are being led by the Lord's Will instead of Ours?
Trust the Lord in this and pray that he opens all our eyes in Love. I love RH also!! God may have BIGGER PLANS THAN WE AS MORTALS ARE AWARE OF!!
Jesus loves us all and we should continue to love one another as He has loved us!!

Toni Vaughn it is refeshing to see someone with enough courage to sign their work.

February 23 2002, 8:14 AM

Some have suggested that I meet with the Flock beaters to air grievances. BE CAREFUL WHAT YOU ASK FOR. Though I have tried to meet with the leaders of many different congregations, the results are the same. Basically Get away from our flock we don't want them to know the truth.
As for all the anonymouses that suggest that I meet with leaders let me said this. First I must give you a name so you will know who I am talking to. I will give the name Ahab. For it was King Ahab (leader)that accused the Prophet Elijah for causing trouble in Israel (I Kings 18:17-18) And it was Elijah that called for a test to see who was right. The power of life and death is in the tongue. So be very careful what you ask for.
If you don't like the name Ahab try Ahaziah. He was the King that sent 100+ men to their death by fire when he sent them to the top of a hill to get Elijah. ( II Kings 1:9-16)

A Name for Joe McKnight

February 26 2002, 1:02 PM

Please read the scriptures for the one who causes divisions and turmoil in the church....they're called Satan's workman or Lucer's henchmen. I am praying that you really are not trying to cause such problems. I know that we have wolves around our flock, please do not be one of them.
In the name of Jesus Christ, get thee behind the church at Richland Hills, Satan, and do not hurt the flock anymore.

Please don't call me Jesus

February 26 2002, 7:43 PM

Toni:
I took your advice about reading the New Testament about what they called a person that caused division. So please don’t call me Jesus, I am but a lowly servant of the Master, Redeemer, King of Kings, wonderful, lamb of God, THE LION OF JUDEA: My Husband.
This is from a word search : division
Lu 12:51 Suppose ye that I am come to give peace on earth? I tell you, Nay; but rather division:
Joh 7:43 So there was a division among the people because of him.
Joh 9:16 Therefore said some of the Pharisees, This man is not of God, because he keepeth not the sabbath day. Others said, How can a man that is a sinner do such miracles? And there was a division among them.
Joh 10:19 There was a division therefore again among the Jews for these sayings.

I started reading in Matthew and look at all the division and name calling Jesus did. Matthew 4:17 7:6 8:22 10:33 12:34 12:48 15:3 16:6 16:23 17:17 19:29 21:12 all of 23 25:32 This is just Matthew

Hireling don’t divide, they draw away and then run.
Wolves don’t divide, they eat

I might say I also read Matt.15:13-14 so I will leave you alone.
Please don’t glorify me.

To God be the Glory
Joe McKnight

...........................THE BOOK

What Happened At the Madison Church of Christ?

There are thousands of churches being taken over across America.

This book is only about one of those churches. It's about the Madison Church Of Christ. By studying the methods used here along with the resource references you might be able to inoculate your church. At the very least you will recognize the signs early on.

Many of the current members of the Madison Church of Christ still don't know what happened.
Some never will know! This book is for them as well.

Madison Church of Christ was a 60 year old church. At one time it was one of the largest churches in the US, and the largest Church of Christ.

It thrived for many years on the vision of it's elders and those of it's ministers. Those visions undoubtably came from the the inspired word of Jesus Christ.

At sometime in the last 10 years there was a deliberate plan by a majority of the elders to take the Madison Church of Christ into a more worldly realm.

They used secrecy, covert planning, and outside sources to scheme and to change the format and direction of the Madison Church of Christ.

The Elders knew that the membership would never approve such a plan. Using the tools of the "Community Church Movement"(consultants, books, seminars, meetings, planters, seeders) they slowly started initiating change so it was never noticed by the members until it was too late.....

At the heart of the plan was the fact that old members were going to be driven off so new techniques could be used to go out and reach the unchurched through new "Contemporary Holy Entertainment" methods developed by the "Community Church Movement"

Old members had to be kept on board long enough to get their plans ready, or the funds would not be there to pay for the new building. So by the plans very nature, it had to be secret.

The church had no plan in effect to renew or approve elders. There was never any need. The elders had always been "as approved by God". 10 of the last 15 elders would begin to shed some doubt on that.

The Elders did not even need a majority at first, because some of the elders went along unwittingly.

This edition starts shortly after some of the members begin to smell something strange in January 2001. Later editions may go back and fill in some of the timeline.

To even start to understand whats happening here, you must read the background materials in the first of the book.

This is only the first edition, and not the end. New editions will be printed as needed. To keep abreast of current changes, please visit our web site; http://www.concernedmembers.com/madison

Here is the list of players;

5 Godly Elders
10 Not so Godly Elders
120 "Deacons" (allegiance unknown)
2,800 - 4,000 church "members"
2 "teners" (people who have publicly confessed to have broken all ten commandments)
Unknown number of "sinners" (This is what the 10 elders call us.)
Unknown number of "demons" (Flying everywhere, to many to count)
