Well, it has been several months since I viewed the site and see that the discussion has digressed greatly from the topic at hand. Further, several you are now contributing are not part and have not been part of the RHCC family.

Ken (and those participating with him), I would personally prefer that you take your discussions elsewhere. You are merely using this forum as a launching pad for all of your ideas. I certainly respect your right to speak out (and Heaven knows that we need more who will), but you have turned a somewhat useful discussion into your private web page.

I might just mention that some who have contributed here, i.e. Mac & Barb McAlister and Elvin & Beth Bobo and DeeAnn and myself have joined the Legacy church of Christ family (the old Pipeline congregation). Several other wonderful families have also moved their membership to Legacy from RHCC.

I believe that to a person we are all very happy with our new church family. I continue to pray for the RHCC congregation. They made a doctrinal (teaching) change that is unacceptable to us. I continue to love that church and remain very disappointed with the changes that have been made and others that I believe will, in short order, be made.

Holding to sound doctrine is not a choice nor is it merely cultural. Command, example and necessary inference are still valid methods (and nothing more that deductive logic or reason) to test our theologies.

I would finally suggest that all you have contributed here: carefully examine your hearts and test whether you have made your points with a “love one another” mentality.

I was sent the paper by a member of Farmer's Branch
and asked my opinion or "how I would interpret the paper."

I was also asked to be a contributor of the OWNER of all of the forums: each forum, as I understand it, is directed to that church from which people have requested help.

Since Farmer's Branch and RHCOC share the same views I believe that as a web teacher I have the right to examine their proof-texts.

If ALL of the proof texts are perverted (hopefully just ignorantly) to teach a lie then the first ammendment and Lord Jesus gives me the authority to point out the errors.

I have tried to point out that the LAW OF MOSES was permitted BECAUSE OF TRANSGRESSION. That was Musical Idolatry at Mount Sinai restoring the ancient Babylon, Egyptian, Canaanite worship of, in Stephen's Words, THE STARRY HOST. A key WANDERING STAR was SATURN whose Chaldean number is 666.

God TURNED THEM OVER to their own gods. When the ELDERS rejected God and demanded a king like the nations, God promised them that the kings (given in his anger and taken away in his ange) would confiscate their property and, among other things, make their children into CHARIOT MUSICIANS and instrument makers.

David as KING and the COMMANDERS OF THE ARMY fulfilled this prophecy by using the MILITARY PANIC MUSICIANS for the future Temple. The temple was also LIKE THE NATIONS and would help destroy the nation and lead them into captivity and death.

Hate to tell you but modern HARMONY (not related to melody) is defined as the style of ORGANUM or after the style of the pipe organ. Since WE ALL violate direct commands and sing Twila Paris rather than "that which is written, the Spirit or the Word of Christ" then we are all in the same leaky boat. And the recent change of singing from TEACHING to MUSIC when the music word is not a Biblical concept except among pagans, shows that we must shoulder some of the responsibility.

I don't have any "good attitudes" to share about people who DARE to do what the Jewish musicians (sounders of Hard Bondage) and NOT even the vilest pagan religions permitted: that is, allow the musicians or singers into the HOLY PLACE which was the CARNAL type of which the body of Christ as church of Christ is the fulfillment.

To that end, I have posted some more ugly truth to show that the Monarchy was a BABYLONIAN or CANAANITE form of animal sacrifice QUARANTINED from participation by the people's "congregation." Temples, tithing, Levitical "burden laders," a dominant clergy, Sabbath church and lying about ALL of the music terms in the Bible surely must be a sign of something. Do we fiddle?

I don't believe Weldon meant anything disparaging in his remarks directed at you. I believe what he was trying to convey was that the people who requested that RHCC be added to this site have all joined another congregation and that the only ones contributing to the discussion here now do not and never have attended RHCC. That's all. Correct me if I'm wrong Weldon.

That is correct. However, firing the deacons to select deaconesses seems to have been a reason to hire a PROFESSIONAL deaconate.

This issue, however, cannot be divorced from the little, long range adding celebrative worship to make church into a "dairy" instead of a "butcher shop."

Therefore, most of the contributors and added topics have been from "outsiders." But outsiders having already seen the path to its end.

I thought the point was that hopefully the site had died but I think lots of people have tried to keep it alive because the hostile takeover people are still at it and helping see the storm BEFORE it gets to others is a worthy goal. Therefore, the message seemed to be that I should retire from the scene:but I know of no professional 'conservatives' out risking their jobs.

Fighting great fatique I spend lots of money and time to be able to teach while a mega church will spend millions of dollars and not a squeak when they have to lie about God's Word to keep the Legs Of Lambs in their teeth. Therefore, with from about 23,000 to 29,000 page hits a month I don't need the few hundred trying to fight the battle which belongs to the local preachers praying for rocks to fall on them.

I get nothing but bad health out of my effort. I believe that the LOCALS need to get some starch and tell the truth about music as the way the pied piper leads the rats INTO the city.

I take it that the elders at RHCC did not repent and change their ways. I am thankful that your prayers were answered and that you and your wife, the Bobo's and McAlister's found a sound congregation.

My wife and I recently visited a small church near our home. We hadn't realized how starved we were for "meat". All we had been listening to in sermons for the last year had been "milk". Although we are still starving at our current congregation, we left the small church near our home with more fervor to fight the infiltration at Hillcrest.

Ken, I would be surprised that you would term yourself as a "web teacher." As you must surly know, the term "teacher" or "rabbi" was one that the Jews conferred upon worthy others. Yours seems self-proclaimed to me.

Further Ken, I would admonish you on a couple of points:

1. No one cares how much you know, until they know how much you care. Period.

2. If you have not personally visited with the elders from Farmers Branch and those from RHCC, then I am not sure that you or I or anyone else can simply lump them together.

Basically, I am very troubled with some of the trends I see in the church, but your continued pounding of this thread is doing nothing to solve the problems and your are discrediting yourself.

That's enough from me. Honest discussion is both healthy and good, but brother you are "kicking against the pricks."
