Firstly congrats on an amazing site. I have spent ages on here reading all and loving the nostalgic trip back to my youth.
Obviously i was one among many hundreds of thousands that loved the show. This kinda got me thinking.Surely there has to be some way of organising an event that could be based entirely around the monkey show. An event that could bring the remaining cast from Monkey over to the UK so fans who cannot afford to go global could meet them?
I have been to a few bruce lee meets in London back in the early nineties where i met a few stars that worked along side him and it was a massive success with the fans.
So what do you guys think? How much interest could we generate? Indeed would it be realistic and what would be the chances of getting the cast over here?

I think, if you check on the main page, there is a small helping of infomation to do with the possibility of a 'Monkey' Fan-Day...suggestions and the like...I would definetley try and go...
This page on the Monkey Heaven web site lets you submit and read lots of ideas / comments by Monkey fans for a possible Monkey Convention:

However, given that Masaaki Sakai's management do not encourage him to get involved in any activities related to Monkey, it is highly unlikely that he will ever come to the UK to meet the fans - and since he's the number 1 wish for fans attending such a convention, unfortunately, it looks most likely not to happen ;(
