i recently had a race with one of these. when i saw the car it had glass etching on it. the bowtie symbol was etched on the back glass, the z28 iroc windshield banner was etched into the windshield, and there was decorative etching on the drivers window, passangers window, and the t-top glass.

he said it came factory in 87 and that there where only 2500 made back then. it would be 20th anniversary edition if they made them. i was wondering if anyone could confirm this came factory back then.

Never heard of this option. But it is quite possible to have something like this. I do not know everything about these cars. So if this was an option I would love to know so that way I can add this interesting otpion to the site.

well i have a 1987 z28 iroc z mine has everybell and whistle you can put on one and mine does not have it. I think he is full of shit. and camarosource.org or com not sure will tell u.

Have original 87 Iroc Z, 350 and all the paperwork

including window sticker. Spent 2 hours with the

sales manager on November 86 when they decided to put

the 350 in the 87. Went thru all his paperwork and brochures

and even had him call the District manager on some items

to make sure there were not some items not listed but could

add.
My car has every option availabe for it except for leather seats.
Sorry, no etched glass.
Was also told that there were probably going to be some cars,

Hey dude get your ducks in a row b4 you claim to know what your taking about. No such option as etched glass on an 87. I own an 87 IROC, which by he way is not my first F-body. Dont bring some know it all attitude to a forum for people who own and know there cars. You must drive a rice burner w/ beehive exhaust and think it makes it fast. Stick w/ what you know best, nothing. I hate when punks insist they know what there talking about and dont have the first clue.

And by the way, the only 87 that was considered a 20th anniversary edition were ALL convertable.
