I'm curious..why is it that when some people do burnouts only one tire spins? I have a 1996 dodge dakota v6. when i do a burnout only one tire spins. I also have a 1985 IROC-Z 305 TPI 5-speed that is in the shop. I havent tried burning out yet with it but will both tires peel? And if not...WHY THE FUGGG NOT?!

its because on rear wheel drive, really only one tire drives the car and the others just follow it... if you want both tires invest in a system like a posi that will make both tires spin

i own a 5-speed firebird and the only way to do a standing still burnout is to get a brake(like your parking brake) that locks just the fronts instead of the rears, which your parking brake does now. Or maybe you can dump the clutch at 5000 RPM, something I'll never do with my baby!
