Hey Camaro owners.....I have an 82 Z28 and the front end is making clicking noises when i go around turns. Also it sounds like the trans is about to fall out whenever i jump on it. What are some possibilities you gear heads can figure out because i checked everything already and dont seem to see anything. hopefully some one has had a similar problem fixed and knows how.....thanks

As far as your front end clicking have you had the struts checked?
Your tranny sounds like mine did, try the mounts and if you are getting a thunking noise after you get on it and let off try the u-joints and or the yoke.
That is what fixed my problem. I swore it was the tranny when i first bought the car i went through it fixed it and is good to the day.
Hope it help ya.

I had the same problem when i bought my camaro. The tranny jumped whenever i would get on it. It turned out to be a tranny mount.

Yea thers is no doubt that it is the tranny mount it your stomping down on the throttle and the your hearing a banging sound under the car. ita a real easy fix if it is the tranny mount so if you do get new ones go with polyeurathane i dont know if i spelled that right but get those and the make sure when you buy them you get the right ones cus third gen camaros have a weird tranny mount... Good luck

Not sure about the front end; though a friend had a similar problem and it was soft and broken coil springs. As for your tranny the bushing on the torque arm may be your problem. As you get on it as you say the torque arm tries to spin upwards. The arm is conected to the tranny with a bracket and a rubber bushing. This bushing has a history of wearing out due to oil, road grim and hard aceleration. Look into getting a polyuerathene bushing; it's cheap to buy and put in. Good-luck.
