i need help. i have a 1987 camaro and i have the 350 carberated engine in it. but i need help with a few things. first i need help with what wiring do i use. the old engine was a 2.8 mpfi v-6 so theres lots of wiring i dont need. my other question is what transmission should i use? i want to use a 350 trans and not the 700r4 but will a 350 trans bolt in with out messing with the crossmember and drive shaft? and what should i use for the fuel electric or mechanical pump? and is there anything else i should know about? thanx for your help.

... OK first things first lets get that thing wired correctly ..
Painless wiring kit ... cheap and perfect for what ya did
why use the 350 Trans ? has it been re-built ?
700R-4 is a good trans and will save alot of build up headaches (MPH guage reading correctly and so forth) Also ... word of advice ? MSD Ignition .. just one less thing to worry about when it comes to running the new 350 .... Mechanical Fuel pump is the way to go i suggest Holley 90 GPH .. any other questions ??
