The famous Olympic skier Picabo (pronounced Peek-A-boo) Street is not just an athlete, she is a nurse.
She currently works at the Intensive Care Unit of a large metropolitan hospital.
She is not permitted to answer the telephone, however, as it caused simply too much confusion when she would answer the phone and say,
Picabo, ICU.
A good clean joke is hard to find these days --- pass it on!
BTW...the first amendment rights to freedom of speech and of the press do not always apply to those in the hills of Appalachia...I am no longer writing for the paper..however I have continued to write and you can find new things on my website. You may not agree with what I have to say but I know that all of you here as opposed to other forums will respect my right to say it.
