Hendo released?

Can't believe Huntly have released Dave Henderson? He has been one of our best performers this season. Also with a lack of experince in the side, guys with Hendo's stature are surely needed in the team. I also heard that the management are rummored to be letting go two more defenders in Kippy & Ant Henry. Thank god Ross Campbell is back, or there would be a shortage of players to play at the back! Anyway good luck Hendo, & i am sure all Huntly fans wish you the best in the future.

Happy New Year to all concerned with HFC, supporters, players etc
aye was surprised to hear on the grapevine that Hendo had been released as you said the younger lads need some experience, ok so maybe he wasn't the best centre half we have had but he certainly wasn't worst !
oh well maybe Kippy and Anthony might (ha ha) get a chance now !

Hendo

Sentiments agreed by me!
It is a strange one, even if Ross C's back and Scott Anderson's signing soon.
Best Wishes Hendo, but we'll no doubt see you in someone else's colours before the end of the season!

Yes a.h. I was in the ‘traditional’ away end of the Berwick ground, although I seemed to count more than three Huntly fans in there. No, I didn’t see anyone turn to us and applaud. Thank you for pointing me in the right direction to read your full report for that weekend. I apologise for not replying earlier but I’ve just woken up after reading it. Thank God I didn’t print it off or I would’ve been responsible for another rain forest gone !
After the best sleep of my life & now with a cricked neck, I’ve made a New Years’ resolution to restore my Norwegian TV Test Card screen saver, cancel the Readers Digest along with all the kids’ comics & return the wife’s Enid Blyton novels to the library. As Grant Turner said : ‘You’ve got too much time on your hands !’ 214 miles in six hours, did you leave the handbrake on by mistake, get stuck in a two-hour traffic jam, or did you get lost looking for the first three bridges before you reached the Forth ? No, but seriously, I can’t take back the Enid Blyton novels…. & I really did enjoy the read !
Like yourself & the I’m sure many other Huntly fans, I can’t make any sense of letting Davie Henderson go & I agree with all the sentiments posted regarding this. Again, has something gone on behind the scenes we don’t know about ? Maybe there’s a chance now for Derek Craigie to get a game, be it in defence or attack.
As the Christmas over indulgences now begin to wear off, did Santa really come down my chimney, or did Andy Low score a hat trick the other week ?…..

About lump sum

January 9 2004, 12:17 PM

It is my understanding about the large lump sum!!!! Hendo was asking for was due to him as a loyalty payment from the transfer fee that DEVERONVALE SAID was to be paid to him. This, I believe, was to be paid in 3 instalments, one at the start of his period at Huntly, with two further payments at the start of this season and at the end of the season. The first payment was made, but the two other payments have not been forthcoming. To his credit, Hendo has asked, but not received any of that money, as it was never a consideration for playing for Huntly. For some players money is not the be all and end all.

"Traditional" Away end at Berwick

January 6 2004, 8:35 PM

Im afraid I stand defiant on my claim only 3 fans in the "Traditional" away end at Berwick.
The "Away end" was segregated from the Berwick posse by a huge iron fence (Ive a photo of it awaiting posting on my website) and only me and my two fellow howlers Alan & Bruce stood there for the 90.
