Just like to say congratulations to Stainer for scoring five goals in yesterdays Juniors match at Kinloss, and also to Dek Craigie for scoring Ellon's season opener against Glentanar.
If only they were still with us!

Yes Dobbin played a bit of fitba but never managed to break into the prolific Yule Square team of the early 70s.He was more involved with cricket often found tampering with the ball in trades league& passing on the skill to current pakistan test team.

Linden Centre, 1975.

Ah...... the Yule Square team of 1973. Now that WAS a team.
McRitchie B, Whyte K, Chyla T, Cowie, Morrison, Ross, Mitchell, Law, Leslie, Ness, Johnstone.
Still havn't seen a better player than Billy McRitchie whose career was ended prematurely by a Saturday job at the butchers.

Bogiesider.
Can you also name some of the stars that played in the Linden Centre team of 1975.
C,Winton. I,Raffan, Bill Bones, Busty, Barrie, Raymond Ba heed,Jimmy Bap,
Moose, Jake Mitchell,Tommy Webster, I think all afore mentioned did not play in the 1975 team but you can mabye help out with some names.
Robbie Watson was one,I mine off cause he broke my leg in training at the school park in1975,
Another player with a broken leg at the time was Alan Howard (telecom).
Come all you ex stars get thinking.
