Huntly U13s lost ther Scottish Cup tie 1st Round game V Lewis UTD by 6 -0 at
Linksfield.
Lewis opened the scoring with an unfortunate OG early on and
they continued to press forward with some good passing that the young Huntly
team never got to grips with. Further goals incl dodgy offside & speculative
cross/shot that decieved the keeper resulted in 3-0 at half time.
2nd half started with a 4th early goal but Huntly knuckled down and played away
without ever threatning the Lewis goal. Injuries to key players Morrison &
Thomson meant a reshuffle and it was no suprise they lost 2 more goals. As
this is a young inexperienced 11 aside team this was a good learning curve
for all concerned & hopefully will move on & up.

These scores dont happen that often, and youve got to look at these early weeks and say the team's been a success.
