2007-2008 and beyond.

The SFA have announced a revamp whereby the first round of the scottish cup will be entirely of non-league member clubs,

the second will be the progressing clubs and third division sides,

third round progressing clubs and second division sides and "bottom six" of first division

with the fourth round being SPL/Division one and progressing clubs

then the last 16, quarters, semis and finals as usual.

p.s - the qualifying cup has been scrapped altogether and will be replaced by yet another regional club for the one and only reason of sponsorship potential.

Its seems great, but is has not been voted for YET but it should be.All 15 teams and golspie go into the first round with four junior clubs(Superleague winners and the junior cup winners).

Also winners and runners-up in the league get a bye to round 2 should give teams more incentive to finish 2nd even if they can't win the league.
