A fairly long journey that will be made worse with the long hold up at Mosstodloch with the resurfacing work

I would think they will be working on Sat

sometimes as long as 30 to 45 minutes to get through depending on q

might need to rethink route up through Mulben or Rothes

Thats rediculous. What a shocking time to be doing resurfacing work there.

I mean come on, Christmas is just around the corner and everybody is getting excited - and that Baxters shop is always heaving with folk youd think doing a long-term job on the road there would be done in february.

Great that David Grey read your piece in the Huntly Express about supporters bus sponsorship and on the spot walked into the social club and handed over sponsorship-we need more of those!!!!!! Our warmn thanks to David Grey, he is a top notch supporter and has been very helpful to me.

AH,

Maybe the council felt SUMMER was the peak tourist season without considering the volume of traffic associated with the Baxters Soup Christmas Extravaganza.

We all know you get wound up about things but road work scheduling? Has your blood pressure ever dipped below 250?

Due to my change of job I will now be going, but the bus is leaving far too early for me to get there in time. Hope it's full as this must be the first bus to Brora in years!

Thanks David Gray by the way, that bit hasnt been polugged enough.

The bus leaving early allows people to get something to eat without rushing, maybe we could look at the times for the next long distance game. The sponsor is advertised the same as the others apart from the header on the forum.

Re: re:

Bankie Jimbo - aye, sorry I didnt mean to sound like I was having a go. Just wanted folk to realise that Im going not in spite of there being a bus, Im going on my own accord because I'll never make the bus departure time. These things happen.

P.s - I think the team bus stops off at "The Skiach Services" just north of Inverness (well it did under Billy), supposed to be quite good. The Buckie Supporters Group man 'Silas' reccommended "The Caberfeidh" in Golspie last week. Theres also a good ice cream shop in Brora, but it's maybe not the right weather for this, and the social club is excellent, but doesn't sell food to my memory.

Re: re:

Come on AH, 10:00 surely it isn't too early from Oyne, and it's far cheaper than taking the car. You never know you might enjoy the banter and become a regular! Like Bankie says it's early to allow people to have some fish and chips or whatever after the long run. I'm afraid I won't be there so you're entitled to have a pop at me, but if supporters are going, it has to be on the bus!

Is the fact you know where the team bus stops a factor?

Re: re:

November 17 2006, 1:13 PM

My training at INSCH ends at 11am! I give myself 3 hours max to get there based on the last two years so should make it leaving Insch at 11, theres just no way of me getting to Huntly for 10, sorry.

Anyway, this is an isolated case coming away from the point.

LETS FILL THIS BUS and take the biggest away support to brora in years. Book your seat following the procedure above!

Scotty, this is the lowest we could charge. With the sponsor money and depending on how many folk go, the supporters club will be lucky to make any money from this bus.We have 13 names booked and it would not be fare not to go for those members.

Re: re:

Just to say that I won't be able to go to the game on saturday at Brora either, (first time in about 8 years or so that I haven't been there, as I really like the Brora day out, the Social Club is ace!)

This is due to the fact I've just found out that the Primary School Football Team that I run, Woodside, have got a game with a 10.30 am kick off against Crombie in the league at Westhill, So obviously i'll never make it!

I'm gutted to miss it, but good luck to Dave and the lads anyway.

Alan G.
