Game started evenly but Huntly soon had more of the play. Within first 20 minutes Huntly had 6 corners which they did not mange to get a goal from. Against the play Cornhill scored after 25 minutes. A high ball over the top and only the goalie to beat.
After that Huntly again put on the pressure. Greg Dorrat, Gary Mackay, Andrew Chalmers all had shots. However at half time it was still 1-0 to Cornhill. Second half started same Huntly putting on pressure but no goal. At 65 minutes Gary Mackay scored and then at 69 minutes. After that it was defending all the time by Cornhill with very few attacks from them. Gary Mackay got a third after 81 minutes. A deserved result for Huntly but took a long time to get a goal despite having so much play.
