13s v cornhill 11/3

Huntly U13s drew 4-4 with Cornhill at the meadows.The Huntly loons were very disappointed to allow the abdn team back into the game after leading 2-0 at the break after playing very well which was rewarded with goals from Craig Cormack & Gary Morrison.Both Huntly wingers,Mitchell & Dey played very well with good support from full backs pushing up.The half time pep talk regarding keeping it tight failed miserably as Cornhill scored in 2nd min & dominating for next 15mins before adding a 2nd ,game on!!!.Huntly finally regrouped & Ryan Thomson scored after good thru ball,Gary Morrison scored from penalty after Cormack impeded to make it 4-2.Cornhill went for broke for last 10mins and finally got there reward with the Huntly defence leaking 2 avoidable goals.The team must learn to take there chances when on top & not let teams back into game.Special mention to under pressure ref Jockie Gray who coped well with roaring intimidating crowd.Next weeks game away to Culter Rovers 18/3
