As you know, I have been working hard to develop a full youth development programme. I am delighted to tell you that in response to a request from me, Kevin Keegan has agreed, for no fee, to visit Huntly, be the guest speaker at one of our Huntly Football Club Legend's Luncheon. He will be bringing his wife with him. He has also told me that he is happy to advise me on how to develop the youth side. Details are still at the planning stage, but I will keep you informed as things develop.

The date for the visit of Kevin Keegan can now be confirmed as May 18th, he will attend a Legend's Luncheon at the Castle Hotel.

Are these "luncheons" aimed at supporters or businessmen/ potential investors like the previous ones?

The legends luncheon is for potential investors but Kevin has offered to stay on after it and maybe meet supporters in the social club around 5:30 pm-would this be a good idea?

Thanks for the thanks-should have some more major news on this one by the middle of the week.

I am now delighted to confirm that Kevin Keegan will stay on after attending the Huntly FC Legends Luncheon on May 18th so that he can attend our youth trials night that evening and help with the coaching our youth teams. This will give us a really good boost to our youth development programme.

He has also confirmed that he will drop into the social club, which will be open early that evening, so that he can meet supporters. He will be there around 6pm.

I would confirm that Kevin is doing this for no fee, I have told him about our ambitious plans for Huntly FC and he says he is delighted to come and visit us and give some help.
