You must be joking

This has got to be wrong! Since when were season tickets the same price as "at the gate" i.e stand ticket 14 x £7 = £98. Buying a season ticket has always allowed free entry to at least 2 games!
If this is not a mistake I will not be a season ticket holder next season despite holding one for many many years!
I received the list of prices from our secretary Brien Ross this afternoon - before I put them onto the website I queried them with him and he confirmed that these were the new prices.
The discount now only applies if you are a member of the Supporters Club.

Honest mistake or penny pinching?
June 30 2007, 12:14 AM
Where's the incentive in buying a season ticket if the price is the same as paying for every game?
The Supporters Club were informed that 10% discount had been agreed as a "perk" of being a member of the supporters club. This should not be in place of the normal "free games". This now penalises the fans who normally purchase season tickets and are not members of the supporters club. Yes we would like them to join and the membership to increase but this is certainly not a correct way of going about it.
I hope there has been an honest mistake in pricing the tickets or in communicating the prices to Kathleen.

It not only penalises fans who are not members of the supporters club it also penalises supporters club members. Never have we been asked to pay so much -- great perk.
As has been said already I hope this is a mistake afrer all we do have a new Secretary on board who may not be familiar with the normal arrangements.
Could we have an official reponse ASAP please Robin?
Yes I quite agree with all that has been said and I certainly will be bringing it up at our next meeting.
Not everyone wants to join the Supporters Club and that is their perogitive. If fans are willing to pay for watching Huntly FC upfront (without even having seen the team play) and therefore getting the club some money early on in the season then there should be some incentive for them.

Must be a mistake folks as season tickets have never before been priced at the same price as pay at the gate.
Has always been a minimum of two games free if you paid up front.
I know it is at a completely different level but the basics are the same if you look at the Aberdeen F C website.
Main stand
Games 19 X £26 = £494
Season ticket £410
Season ticket £390(early bird bought before 1.00 pm today)
