IF he has walked!, then we simply HAVE to sign another striker ASAP! Simple as that!

Toys

September 2 2007, 6:29 PM

I hope not

he seemed to play or come on in most games I saw

surely players have got to realise that in certain games diff players/diff formations are required

Have to agree with Alan G, if Keith Reid has walked Huntly certainly need to sign another striker.

Neil Gauld, Bruce Cormie, Craig Dorrat all at the club but I think we'd all agree that having a fourth striker would be a lot better.

Any suggestions on who Dave should take an interest in?

Not just a rumour.

"Toys are out of pram" so to speak and he has walked.

Not happy at being sub for first 4 games, and p*ssed off at not being the first striker off the bench when we were 1-0 down in the Buckie game.

Hi Folks,

Just to keep you up to speed on this and to stop any nasty rumours flying about Keith Reid has requested a transfer but the Club and Management are talking with him at present. As usual Huntly FC Online will be the first to know of any Transfer moves or changes.

IF and only if he leaves for one reason or another , then surely its obvious we should play guald and dorrat upfront??

Gauld & Dorrat, why??? Reidser wasn't even starting games, Cormie was. Dorrat doesn't look ready to be starting games week in week out yet.

If Reidser isn't back and nobody is brought in then hopefully Magoo will get used more as a striker - his best position IMO.

i agree with some of these posts

huntly should have mcgoo and gauldy upfront and cormie in attacking midfield

dorrats young and comes off the bench and attacks well against opposing defenders

Don't think we could get away with Magoo, Gauldy and Bruce all playing in atttack against the stronger teams - we need Guildy, Grayzer and Corser in the middle of the park in those games, let Guildy concentrate on getting forward.

If that means having to rotate Cormie/Gauldy/Magoo or play Magoo on the left then so be it.

abuse towards player removed

Board should dig deep and bring in a quality striker, it will pay off eventually.

Fair enough Shaun, not saying to definitely play Magoo on left, Coco's been playing well. Just don't think we should try and fit Bruce, Gauldy and Magoo all in attack, cos we need the midfield three (see game against Locos when Grayser and Corser were out, or game against Buckie when Corser was out).

The improvements in last two weeks were only cos it was Lossie we were playing.

Apart from Ringo I don't think any of our wide players or attackers should be above getting left out on this seasons form.
