The provisional date we have set for selling the tickets is
Monday 17th December - time to be announced later
The ground capacity has been set at 2500 and both clubs will have 1250 tickets to sell and the ground will of course be segregated and with no re-entry
The clubs have agreed a price of the following:
Adults £15 Concessions £10
Season ticket holders and Supporters Club members will get first chance of the tickets
There will be very limited stand tickets available to season ticket holders and disabled badge holders only
We also plan to sell club merchandise on the 17th as well
What merchandise is being sold on the day?
I won't be in the country for the match (working in Canada at the moment) but know people trying to get tickets who might be able to pick me up a replica top/scarf etc. Would make a change from all the ice hockey gear worn around here!
If not then how can I go about getting any of the above pieces of merchandise? Is there a club shop at the ground?
We have a limited number of shirts in various sizes
hats & scarves - with more on order
there is a club shop on site which is open every home game and we are looking to sell online as well
will get more info on site asap
cheers
Kathleen

I would like to remind the Club that their Under 13s and 14s Youth teams are playing during the time allocated for selling the Dundee tickets. Now I know you cannot please all the people all the time, however this is going to cause problems for parents, players & coaches of these teams who may wish to purchase tickets.
Are the Club going to be offering tickets for sale at any other time?
Sorry Shona but due to work committements and watching the first team on Saturday Sunday morning is the only time Alix and myself can sell the tickets this weekend.
Sorry we cant please everyone
However we will be selling during the week as well possible Wednesday night
We also thought for safety reasons it would be better to sell tickets in day light just in case there are large crowds queuing out on the street

1250 allocation to the away fans takes away home advantage.
They are only entitled to 500 ?
It will be disappointing if we can only sell 1250 tickets to home fans.
Or is this to do with the ground layout ?

Have to agree, why are we giving Dundee such a large allocation? I think the board have been doing a really good job of late but really disappointed with this. If we don't sell enough then fair play let dundee have a larger allocation but to give them half without trying is pretty poor.
I cannot Adam & Eve what logic lies behind allocating half the tickets to the away supporters. Has anyone on this forum known of a club to do this before ? Words cannot describe how angry this decision has made me feel. Whoever made the decision should explain it, then be tarred & feathered in the town square ! I echo the sentiments of Shanksie & say that Huntly fans should be put first. This allocation decision is as good as giving Dundee a goal start.
The ‘decision maker’ should heed the footnote which is on all of Kathleen & Grants postings. Trying to overturn decisions seems to be in vogue, so, can this one be overturned ?
Perhaps the fact that we couldnt sell our allocation for the Culter game was taken into consideration. No doubt someone will remind me of the capacity at Culter and our allocation, but I believe we put tickets back.
Culter held 975 of the 350 we got we sent back 50. Half does seem a lot but consider this dundee think they would sell 3000 easy. If we sell out and dundee dont then we get what they have left. 1250 is a very large target to hit and i hope we do.
As long as we get all our tickets sold that'll be great but i've been to all the games this season and have just seen the support for huntly get bigger and bigger, bring back the good old golden days and lets hear some singing at the game!!!
1250 huntly fans = one hell of a p*** up (even if we loose)
There is absolutely NO CHANCE of me getting to Christie Park for this time on a sunday, and Im disappointed its been moved from the original day of monday night as that I think would have suited more people (no offence, but if Kathleen & Alix cant make it surely theres someone else on that committee doing nothing on a monday night when they're often at board meetings anyway?).
Id like my full allocation of two tickets please, am willing to pay on saturday if required, and if I can get a second allocation of two due to me being both a season ticket holder AND a supporters club member, Ill take three. Bhoy Wonder can suit himself haha.
A.H, sooner or later you will have to accept that you are just an ordinary supporter like the rest of us. The club are entitled to sell the tickets when they want. Are you suggesting they should consult with you first? It's just too bad if it does not fit in with your own personal requirements. Anyway, how do you know that Monday night would be more suitable than Sunday for most people?
(From Aberdeen Journals!) I see our Peterhead Aberdeenshire League game is now Monday night. WHat a great night to be selling the tickets. Get your ticket for the Dundee game, and watch a free game of football supporting the boys!.
Oh come on - hows about even sdelling the tickets AFTER the reserve game!?
Let everyone watch the game then queue to get out instead of queue to get in?
I cant believe that the club would rather sell tickets when a good chunk of the support are assisting or supporting the clubs youth element (One of the ten standards to live by!) just so their re-schedulable meeting can take place.
I still stand by what I said on saturday, the above in theory is:
1) a great way to get folk to take interest in our reserve team
2) the best way to ensure those who deserve a ticket get one.
And to whoever was slagging me off after my last post, get a grip not a gripe - please.
I cannot believe that Huntly fans are upset about the Dundee alloation!!
I am a Dundee season ticket holder and even that does not guarantee me a ticket for the game. Giving Huntly more allocation and Dundee less would lead to a half empty stdium!!! Dundee would have sold triple this allocation at least.
Dundee getting half the tickets will be good for the tie as it will be Dundee fans that will generate more noise therefore a better atmosphere
Finally i believe that the bigger Dundee allocation, the more income coming into your town because the Scottish Cup is a big date for this proud institution therefore when it comes around we take a lot of people to the games and spend a lot of money in the local bars and hotels. Afterall its a good excuse for a good p**h up .
Dee4life.
You're all very welcome and dont forget to bring some cake.
The fuss is based on the split.
Huntly should have tried to sell their 2000 entitlement before giving them to Dundee.
If they had not been sold by early January the Dundee allocation would have been increased to match the unsold tickets.
If you had drawn Celtic at home and the club gave 50% of the tickets straight to Parkhead I bet you would be jumping as well !
get a grip you seriously think you lot can make more noise than us????????? mind WE are the home team, just because you have been allocated extra tickets does not mean you will make most noise!!!!!!!!!
Will stand season ticket holders get their "own" seats? If not then I suspect people who want to sit with their normal crew will have to meet at Christie park before buying their tickets.
I know that in previous Scottish Cup campaigns we have been allocated our normal seats, but I'm taking nothing for granted!

Alan: here is what I wrote for the statement for the site which was posted on the front page on Monday.
There are a very limited number of stand tickets available to season ticket holders and disabled card holders. Although season ticket holders will be guaranteed a seat it may not be their usual one.
OK ta. I don't think the original message had that sentence, I think it was the same as your first post on this thread, but I could be wrong.
To further clarify, I take it that tickets will still have seat numbers allocated, so my original observation "I suspect people who want to sit with their normal crew will have to meet at Christie park before buying their tickets" is probably correct?
Found this on the Dundee fc website: Dundee FC has managed to secure a further 250 tickets for the forthcoming Scottish Cup tie with Huntly (January 12th) and has therefore decided to reduce the restrictions placed upon season ticket holders and Club Dundee members wishing to purchase tickets.
Really looking forward to the game. Haven't been to Huntly for years, so looking forward to going back.Last time was there was in a big place away from the square,Gordon Arms?
Missing my first away game of the season at Morton today due to Xmas work doo (gutted, so trying to get my footie fix on the net!).
Think will be a great atmosphere, singing and colour should be fantastic and great for the Dundee support to visit a ground we wouldn't normally get to. Looking forward to northern hospitality and just is a great day out for everyone.
PS Hope its not like recent games ala Ayr United and QoS and called off when at the ground! Thats my only worry with going up north in mid Jan.
Cheers guys and all the best.
Got my ticket today for the game. Aparantly the tickets we recieved were just pieces of paper with bold text on them and could be copied easily so we produced pur own tickets. Cant wait for the game now! How did Huntly ticket sales go today?
Hi
Tickets sales went well, obviously we have a much smaller fans base than yourselves but it went ok still have some left to sell at our game this Saturday against Clach
The reason, I believe, Dundee printed their own tickets was that they didn't like the little perforations we had own our tickets - but glad you got your ticket
"get a grip you seriously think you lot can make more noise than us????????? mind WE are the home team, just because you have been allocated extra tickets does not mean you will make most noise!!!!!!!!! "
noisey noisey, my good man, you have been seriously mistaken. Dundee's away support is one of the most vocal in the country. Not only do we outnumber teams on their own patch most weeks around 300-400 pasrtake in non-stop singing at EVERY away game. The Dunfermline and Morton managers have commented recently on how good our vocal backing is. Trust me , you will not outsing the Ultras and the LBC boys put together, especially in the scottish cup.
You lads are quite right about the ticket allocation, i'd be fizzing if we handed over half our home tickets to any team. Your committee was caught between a rock and a hard place though because if Dundee had only been given 500 tickets then many guys would have come to Huntly today and bought home end tickets.
Looking forward to a good weekend out and a few pints, keeping fingers crossed we make it through though!!
Not here to have a debate on Huntly's forum but we have outnumbered Stirling, Livingston and Clyde (its fact, Jim thomson told me) and possibly Hamilton (not sure on that one but by my reckoning we did) on there own grounds this season. There was also only 100 people difference between Dundee and Saints at Mdiarmad in a 6000 crowd earlier on. Anyways lets hope we sell all our 1500 allocation and have a braw day out!
Got my ticket yesterday for the game and i jus hope that both sets of fans sell out their allocation to help the atmosphere not only at the game but in your town before hand!!
Dont want to start a dundee debate on huntly website...but dundee mad clearly has not been to may away games this year as we HAVE out numbered the home support on 3 or 4 occasions plus aour 3 thousand plus army through at st.johnstone!
Were all the tickets sold yesterday or are there any left?
If there are any left ,what will be the sale arrangements ?
Mine are safely locked away but know a few non regulars who did not make Sunday's sale.........
at present there is ground tickets althought although upgrade to stand tickets would be available once we have seating for hospitality etc have been organised
Remaining tickets for the game will go on sale in the Social Club from the evening of Thursday the 3rd and will also be on sale on Monday 7th in the Secretary's Office from 7 - 8 pm
Please note contrary to rumours there will be NO cash gate on the day of the game - the match is ALL TICKET
Will the Club also be looking to advertise our Ticket Sale "dates" on Local Radio as a final Push?
Just in case there are people out "there" that have forgotten that we play Dundee at Home in the Cup.
Example: Heard our advert on Radio today for the Supporters Club Bus running to Forres this weekend.
Local Radio as we all know can be a good advertising Tool in our favour in this particular case.
