So the season started full of optimism...over-rated title challenge last year, good start, good win in cup final Vs favorites.....then Manager Leaves...!
Then we had a new manager who has took over over with the club in the middle of a title race....Now, 7 or so games later we have a squad falling apart and a team well out of the title race??
So. Last years top scorer, Only recognized forward(cormies loon), corsrer, campbell(injured) and Brems (we have a dig, but he's the most commited to the cos we have) wanting to leave...
Am i the only season ticket holder worried whats happening?
Cormie going away with work work must come first I would say but he is playing well now fully recovered from toe injury
Corser was out for long time injured and wasnt getting games on his return to fitness i can see why he wanted away although I would have pref him to stay
Campbell hopefully the big fella not going next season before he can even contemplate playing again
Brems this is where i disagree with Dave McG I would have Brems in for just his physical presence at the back/communication defenders always know he is around/shot stopping etc
Brems is the BEST keeper in the league, simple as that!!! I think most of the HFC supporters would agree with me on this one. Stewart Gray IS a decent keeper though, but I would say Brems MUST play if available!!
Only MY opinion though, for what it is worth though!
Have not been on here for ages just looking om with interest however have got to take exception with HFC Loyal.
Never mind Willie Pep what about this gipe.
The club should try and find out who they are as LOYAL they are certainly not.
Facts :
Cormie leaving was a major blow
New manager had nothing to do with Gauld Mcwilliam Corsar Reid leaving.
Have drawn at Buckie & Vale and only completely outplayed at Keith which might happen to a lot of teams.
Won first Challenge Cup Final against favourites and still you come on here complaining.
If you really are Loyal I would expect an awful lot more so lets have less of this negative crap.
And that is before the defeat of the Brochers who were flying before today.
Lets get behind the manager and give him a chance.
i,m sorry if you believe this to be true, but since his old man left for more money i personally think our so called only forward has been exceptional, week in week out he has given his all,not much pace but no one better at holding the ball up.As for corser didnt really rate him better off without him just using up valuable money.Campbell injured will be back better and stronger next year no problem there, and finally the keepers we are blessed with the two best keepers in the league but how would you like it to play well and get dropped because a player comes back from work commitments, not very fair is it,you must have continuity in football.
