Referee for Wednesday night has been changed with Steven George now the man in the middle, he confirmed this himself at the weekend.

The game against Vale will not be an easy one .
Just read in Highland League website that the Vale manager is on his way out of the club.
The latest whisper is that the Will Brothers could be in the frame.we will have to look out for them at Wednesday's game.
Here's hoping that Huntly apply themselves as they have done against Broch ,Fort Willie.
And Dave let's play with the 4 at the back we look a lot better with that system
just my opinion though.

Good luck against the Vale lad's.

The Moose.

i fink we need tae start passing the ball about more instead of just the big punt up the field! with bruice cormie nt having the height he just gets beat in the air most of the time! i fink we should play a 4-4-2. vale on wed we gave 2 stupid goals away we have got to do better!

Being a bit hard on Mo there aren't you?

Ok, Mo is on 9 goals behind top scoring pair Guild and Cormie, but the attacking players didn't stick the chances away at the other end either.

playing style

March 7 2008, 10:36 PM

I thought we were playing 4-4-2 on Wed night

I also thought we tried to play football with ball on deck at times BUT yes when under pressure AND not enough movement form the front pair we resorted to a high ball which was a waste against their tall centre halfs.

On a diff point.

My mate who watched the game with me (and played Junior fitba to a nae bad standard) thought Guildy was the class player on the pitch. He was impressed that he nearly always had that extra second of time on the ball due to the way he read what was happening BEFORE he recd the ball.
