Huntly YFC 1-3 FDS
I caen we got beat today but I think we played really well. Compared to the last time we played them it was like chalk and cheese. 1-3 seems like we were well beaten but we could easily have sneaked a draw. The 1st 10 mins we had all of the ball then FDS came into the game a bit more. I think we gave all 3 1st half goals away cheaply. The 3rd goal went in on the stroke of half time and it kind o deflated the loons a bit. 0-3 half time.
2nd half we picked up and created plenty of chances. Matthew was unlucky a few times, Jordon made some great saves to keep us in it and Andrew scored the only goal of the 2nd half after a good move with Angus. We more than matched them 2nd half and all the loons were positive and kept going the whole game. 1-3 full time.
Andrew was the best player for us today and took his goal well, Angus wisna far behind him with his best game for a while and Lee & Aiden(c)were strong at the back. Jordon could maybe have done a bit better 1st half but 2nd half he was imense and his kicking was spot on even fae goal kicks. A lot of positives to take fae this game and it shows how far we have come in the last 6 months that we can now compete with the best team in the league. Lets keep it going.
