(NYC)LargeInCharge.com Attends MoNique's Casting Call

On June 7th, 2005, WWW.LARGEINCHARGE.COM attended the first casting
call (in New York City) for "Mo'Nique's FAT CHANCE Full Figured
Beauty Competition in New York City. The headlines read "Just my
Size and Oxygen are looking for 10 Full Figured Women to star in a
new reality modeling show that will crown the first American Plus
Sized beauty queen". The casting will be held in 3 cities.
In my opinion, the event was a huge success. By 12 noon the lines
reached a full New York City block...and around the corner. There
were BBW's everywhere! I personally have never seen a Big Beautiful
Women casting call done like that before. Alot of ladies actually
traveled from far distances to be there. It was very professional
and classy. MoNique personally had to come down stairs to kindly excuse
her company for stopping the line because there were so many contestants.
Upstairs the ladies were screened and visually interviewed. Everyone
I spoke to said they enjoyed the experience. Note to all who plan to
attend the next event: Be early!
