I think it's a stretch to suggest the Oil Companies have altered their Business Plan due to the current decrease in demand. Consumers are not applying discipline in their driving habits, in most cases they just can't afford it. The market is so volatile that any news from the Government or Wall Street, or any Global event or crisis in an Oil Producing Country, or more bad weather can alter gas prices on a daily basis. There is no way to gauge what's going to happen. If prices continue to decline, rest assured the American driving public will get back on the roads, especially with the Holidays arriving soon. Just my opinion..............
