Tim, that's Davenport Avenue, just past Bloomfield Avenue. It's my favorite station. You get off the car and walk right into the park.

Thanks to Susan Kemka we have a couple more photos, one from her class -- 68 -- and one from the 1992 reunion (I'm the one holding the Martini). Thanks also, Susan, for filling in some "blanks" in the '66 class photo. Links are on the Main Page.

My pal Art Fonden ('66) reminded me that the reunion was in 1991, not '92. (I think Art's lurking around here somewhere.)

My husband and I remember Art very well. I think we went to a Chinese restaurant with him once. Knew him more from high school. His sister went to Our Lady of the Valley. We seem to run into each other in the last few years of high school. 1970-72. By the way, I graduated St Rose in 68 not 66.

Thanks to Linda Malanga, we now have pictures of the Class of '72 and the Class of '69 at their 1991 Reunion. Thanks again, Linda, and keep those photo coming, folks!

I just got the chance to log on to the site and saw your message. I don't get on too often since I have a 12 year old son who is always on the computer. I graduated in 1969. I lived on No.9th St and attended St. Rose's since kindergarten. I spoke to Marlene Raab about getting some old pictures from the neighborhood since her whole family attended St Rose's (8 kids). Her family was very active in the parish. I'm sure she will be signing on to the website soon. Maybe Grace and I can meet all of you on Friday at Dickie Dee's.

Hi john, You really are doing a wonderful job with the site. The additional pictures are amazing. So the people who weren't able to join us can see what the old stompingg grounds look like today. Very hard to believe! Roseville Avenue was the best street in the area, with the Doctors and the Lawyers and now is is totally run down. It truly is sad. Hopefully they can rebuild the area, like they are trying to do downtown, with the art center and new buildings and parks going up. It would be nice to see the old neighbor redeveloped. Well, keep up the good work, and I'll talk to yoou soon.

That picture of the class of 1953 brought back memories of Father Stone. It was a sad day when he left St. Rose for his own parrish.
