John - Nice job of arranging the pictures Linda DeRosa supplied. I went on the web site the Friday you were at Dickie Dee's about 1:30 and saw that there was a reunion. I called Bob Davis immediately to see who showed up, but his cell phone was off. Just now as I'm typing my wife Eileen pulled out an old photo album and showed me a photo of you, Jimmy Kildunne, Artie Fonden and Dennis Stuorski(I know the spelling's incorrect)with Mr. Hopp's in front of his drug store. Nice Afro you had.
Hi Bill. I would love to see that photo. Can you scan it for me? I think it would be nice to add such photos to our pages here. I'll be adding several pages soon of pics I took around Orange Street last week.
John, you are the best. The pictures from our "mini-reunion" on the site are great. Thanks so much for all your hard work. When this site takes off, you may regret it. Linda, thanks for getting the pictures to John so quickly. It truely was a great day. And, John, you're right. It was really great to see that the atmosphere at St. Rose is beautiful and the "caretakers" are doing a terrific job. It felt just like home. Possibly we are being brought together by a higher power to give back to the school and community all the wonderful energy and memories we received from them during our younger days. It seems that this energy has lasted all of us a lifetime.
