Susan tells me that Jeff is talking with Judy McCabe, so perhaps we can coordinate the Lancers reunion with a St. Rose function on the 18th (a Friday). My plan would be an afternoon appearance preceded by lunch at, oh, Dickie Dees or someplace. As Jeff is the point man here, I toss this notion into the hat for further consideration.

Let me see if I have this straight!
This sounds great! We start at Dickie Dee's friday afternoon. Proceed to St Roses' friday night for the larger reunion of Roseville families and friends. Then we continue the party down the shore Saturday night at the Elks' club.
We should check out hotels for people coming in from out of state for Newark and also hotel accomodatioins for anyone going to the Elks saturday night. I sure don't want to drive an hour and a half after that schedule.
I have tried to get in touch with Vincent Tortoriello, co-chair of the 91' reunion for 69' graduates, but have been unsuccessful.
Susan if you have a list, I would be happy to help out with getting in touch with people. We should really start getting this thing finalized and get in touch with people so they can make arrangements. Usually hotels will let you book a set of rooms at a discount for these type of affairs. Carol,since you know the area down there, maybe you can find a nice hotel that will work with us.
As I said on another posting my brother Richie is coming out from Colorado. And my sister Eellen is trying to come out from Las Vegas. Anyway, let me know what I can do to help.

Hi Carol, thanks for all the hard work. I can mail you a copy of the addresses I have or fax them to you. Which would you prefer? If there is anything I can do to help, just let me know. I think it would be a great idea to let the school know. I've asked Linda Derosa to post information on Classmates.com also. Perhaps a notice in the Star Ledger, Asbury Park Press, etc. I will contact the school for those who would like to meet there in Friday, October 18. I think a beach house or hotel would be a great idea also. Perhaps either a luncheon or dinner at the school? A tour? Mass either after lunch or mass then dinner? I will arrange whatever people would like to do. So I am open to any and all suggestions. I hope we have a multi-generational event. So, everyone start getting the addresses of everyone you know.

I am sure you can check out yahoo lodging, they have a listing of lodgings for each area. we just took a sampling of places from the yellow pages. Maybe AAA would even be able to help with discounts. If you get a group of people together you maybe ableto rent a home cheaper at that time too, or hotel discounts for a block of rooms.

I called quite a few nicer places and they are
either booked, like the Breakers and The Mollie Pritcher, or they cost $225 plus a night. October is big wedding month now. Good luck, hope we can all find a nice place to stay. Saturday's event is over by 9pm and it's only a little over an hour south of the union area. try www.yellowpages.com .
I keep reading see you at the reunion, I haven't hear from too many of those folks yet. We need a good head count, just in case we need a bigger location.. the elks may hold like 200 people.We sent out 300 plus invites e-mail nd snail mail, then many sent the invites on to other friends. contact ASAP.
