Who hasn't dashed down that long flight of steps to the lower level of Penn Station to catch a No. 7 car? Judging from the Go-Go boots, I'd say this photo is from about 1965.

John C, I would believe that the logo your looking for is on the side of the subway car. Also I think that's Jeannie Ponzini-Panza with the go-go boots getting on the car on her way home to Third Street.

Happy New Years to you and your family.
I've been trying to figure out which picture
your talking about, and the "never" i think it was
when they started to bulid 280 how that area was
never the same, not just because...(ohhhh wait
is it the picture where the trolley tracks and the
little park is between 1st and 3rd or 4th st.)
of 280 but some of my best friends lived in that
area and they moved out. the buliding of 280 did
change the area but i think the area was already
changing.
