Beware of E-mail viruses

Recent E-mails that seem to have been sent by Bodholt's members are actually the "klez" virus. Apparently these files hijack your address book and send E-mail in your name. Be very suspicious of messages that come with attachments. If the attachment contains anything you don't recognize, like an exe or pdf file, delete it without opening it. If you've any doubt, reply to the sender in a separate message field and make sure they actually sent you something.

I don't know enough about viruses to help. but I suspect someone among us does. Meanwhile, there are several good anti-virus programs out there. The one I use, AVG, is quite effective, and it's free. Here's a link to it: http://www.grisoft.com/html/us_downl.htm?session=e685f54aba323a9d6cd79ee8105d9427 .
