I just received a direct order from Phyllis Florek to organize another informal gathering at Cryan's on Friday evening, April 11th, at 6:00pm - ?. I always follow orders !!!! RSVP Attendees only. Rico, you have 1 hour to respond!
Would have loved to have attended last night. My husband and I gave it a lot of thought, but it's just too far to drink and drive especially with the weather the way it was last night! I guess the drive would be all right on a night when I'm in the mood for club soda or straight gingerale but after a tuff work week, like this one, last night wasn't the one! A "Grand Dad Manhattan" was more what I had in mind..... So maybe next time. My regards to everyone. Sorry I missed it.
Linda
It was an enjoyable evening, Linda, although it would have been a little better with you there. Conspicuous no-shows, though, were Rosario and Phyllis. I had bought each of them a beer and wound up having to down them myself. No sacrifice is too great for our old school. It was good seeing Eileen and Bill Strallow, Laura Davis, Art Fonden, Deb & Ed Barnes, Pat Purcell, Bobby D., Marty and Bernie. I had the Chicken Saltimboca (very good) and four Black & Tans. I found a hair in my salad but couldn't bring myself to give the waitress (a comely young lass) much of a protest. I left shortly after the band -- a trio of chubby college puddings -- started playing "Sweet Home Alabama." I'll never get back those four minutes!
We really care and look out for the safety
and well being of our "Gran Puma" The Illusttrious
John C. and we had that hair sent to the lab for
a dna test and found out that it was a "pubic hair"
from one of the sex surrogates that was there a
"Izzy Cummings"
An investigation is under way which will be headed
by "Inspector" Marty (his last name has been left out
due to security concerns)the "Inspector" hopefully
will keep us informed by way of this venue.
