A Blessed and Happy Easter to everyone and their families. Let us remember those that can't be with us and let's give thanks for the friends we have found. And don't forget to leave out a carrot for the Easter Bunny!
Happy Easter to you and your family, Vinnie. The Easter bunny baught our family something very special this year, our own little precious bunnie Mikayla Nicole. She arrived early yesterday 6:42 am after a c section 7 lbs, 12 ounces, 19 and a half inches long. My niece Nicole is doing fine in spite of a sore bottom! It's amazing how just one look at a tiny new born can remind us miracles do exsist...............
Linda, Congratulations!! On being a new aunt. I can't believe that makes your sister a Grandma. Sometimes I still think we are still all in school. That is great news. Happy to hear they are all doing fine.
Linda - Congratulations to you, your niece and your sister! What a wonderful Easter present! Carl Sandburg said it best "a baby is God's opinion that the world should go on". I am assuming that this very precious bundle of joy is Denise's grandchild. Another member of the class of '64 joins the Grandparent's club! Two years ago, my daughter took me kicking and screaming into the club. And you know, it is the greatest! I spent all day yesterday going to McDonalds and going to the playground with little Will. It was a special day for both of us. I wish Denise many such special days!
Happy Easter to all. Congradulations to you Linda and your family, a new baby always brings smiles to a family. When I saw this post I throught of back to the days when we all used to get dressed up for Easter. Guys in their suits and girls in pastel colored dresses and suits with those pill box hats(aka Jackie K). Roseville looked good on that morning. Bodholts would be packed and my mother would be scurring around the tables taking orders from people. Especially the girls in the corner near the window, Jeannie, Sara, and Sharon. Have a great day!
HAPPY EASTER EVERYONE!
REJOICE FOR HE IS ALIVE!
He is the same yesterday, today and tomorrow and lives in each one of us. It is not by works or good deeds, not by religion or denomination but only by asking forgiveness of our sins and confessing Him as Lord and Savior that we enter into the Kingdom of Heaven. On this day we rejoice because of His glorious Resurrection we have the hope and promise of eternal life.
