Here's the happy crowd at the Newark Bears game recently. Against the backdrop of the ol' Stickel Bridge we see the Bears mascot (his name escapes me) and the ST. Rose crowd. A good time was had by all. I'll be putting up a photo page soon.

Right Bernie.......I think it was demolished in the late 60s. I also think they shared it with The Eagles.

Wasn't the Newark Bears a NY Yankees triple A team back then?
