I never did tell you who Yakima Canutt was, does anyone else want to give it a try before I give up the answer?

I believe he was a stunt man and, If I recall correctly, taught stunts and "quick draw" to tv and movie western stars.

You are right, didn't think anyone would know him. He was a silent screen star, Rodeo man and mentor to some of the biggies like "The Duke". When movies started to have sound he went into stunt work. One of his greatest was in the original Stagecoach movie. The guy who jumped on the lead team of horses, dropped under them and let the coach drive over him is well know. He is the father of stuntmen and most of what they do today. By the way how did you know that?
