I would like to thank all of you for your help and generosity during this past year. You guys are just great. The Alumni Association has had a very positive response from everyone who has joined to support our school and the neighborhood we all shared. So many changes in our lives have taken place during this year and it's been wonderful to share it all with you on this site. It has been my pleasure to meet all of you again and some of you for the first time. I have found that there truely is a common bond among us and a sense of "home" when I am with everyone. It is a very comfortable feeling. With your continued help, I now know we will make a difference at St.Rose and in the lives of those children. I pray for the continued successs of our Association. Keep up the enthusiasm.
You are so right Susan, about our common bond.
Over the years, even though I was miles away, I never forgot where I came from and the people whose memories I always carried with me. Our Newark neighborhoods and St. Rose education were the best building blocks we could have had. I truely believe that's what kept us all strong for whatever life threw at us!
I'm pleased and honored to be a part of The Alumni Association and will continue to support it anyway I can. A happy and safe New Year's to all.

Well, guess you two gals said it all. Not much more for me to add but I hope in 2004 the unity of SRL alumni and Roosevelt friends, will continue to grow even more. It has been an exciting year filled with meetings and scheduled events. Sharing in them generated feelings I will hold dear in my heart always. I for one, will never lose the enthusiasum I have had since last March when I first found Susan and Bobby's name on classmates.com. It took thirtyfive years to find my old friends. And now I've been lucky enough to make new ones. There's no way I'll loose touch with any of them. Sorry, you're stuck with me till the bitter end. Happy New Year. Linda
