I was a good friend of your brother Kevin when we were both in grammar school, when he was a year behind me. I graduated SRL in 1957. Goofus that I was, I never knew he had an older sister, although I knew he had some older brothers who were pretty tough guys.
Kevin and I used to attack ant colonies using cigarette ligher fluid cans as flame throwers outside your house on 7th Avenue.
We went our separate ways after grammar school, but I would stop and see him on occasion at the corner he used to hang around on up on 14th Street. I always liked him. Poor Kevin passed away soon after I got out of the army and before I left Newark for good and ended up down the shore myself.
