Not me!
John, I don't know where you get all these pictures but keep them coming. I just never know what I will see next or read when I log on. I hope you have as much fun maintaining this site as I have checking it out.
Thanks, Jean. I do have fun maintaining this site. I get these photos from all over the place, mainly from the Newark Public Library, where I have Dennis, Valerie and Willis to thank for their help.
Bodholt's Diner is now entering its third year, and as long as I can find interesting photos of Roseville and Newark, I will keep them coming.
This same picture of the Cyclone at Palisade's Park is one of several giant-size,"Americana" wall murals in the Customer Service Center at the Stonebriar Mall in Frisco, Texas. I thought that was so cool the first time I saw it. I had to find my wife and daughter who were shopping elsewhere to see it.
I remember that Palisades Park was the "home of the world's largest, salt water pool!" and "Cousin Bruce's" remote broadcasts for WABC - 770AM!
Ah yes, Olympic Park -- with the big pool and the sand beach, right? then, of course, there was Rye Beach, and the boat ride -- but we went over that one a ways back on this board.
I remember visiting Palisades Park with my parents and seeing "Cousin Brucie" in person. Shock Shock, He was Bald! A few years later on ABC's version of Hullabaloo he had a lush full head of "hair." The wonders of nylon.
