It is my understanding that the St. Rose Community is now reaching out and sending the almost entire school to the Bears Baseball stadium to watch the game this year. It was my words exactly a year ago to John McCree that if this is a hit with the kids, it could cause a bonding that will undoubtedly set the tone for other years to come.

IT DID!

I guess the kids had so much enjoyed themselves last year that the electricity has engulfed the entire school and Community. All the families are kicking in for this year. Just like it was when we were issuing
spaghetti dinners and raffles for our trips to Wildwood and other parade competitions.

Much credit goes to John McCree, Susan Kempka, John Crowley and Bob Davis. If I left anyone's name off please forgive me and please bring their name forward.

Please thank these Alumni for their efforts. They not only doubled the attendance in one year, but have quadrupled it. Geez, George Steinbrenner will be looking for you guys and gal.

If this spreads like it did this year, it may be an entire Archdiocese next year celebrating a Catholic Day at the Ballpark.

I received the news letter and many kudo's go to Carol Davis for her efforts with all the mailings. Hats off to Linda Kaufer with Diane Matta and their Asbury Park article. This article did bring in more members and got the word out.
