Assault weapons in hand, Newark's Finest guard the entrance to the Prudential Building this week after captured terrorist documents mention the building as a target. Hey, somebody noticed us!

Strong before our birth are the Sons of the Garden State.

Did you happen to notice the helmets?
Must of the helmets you see worn today are
similar in look to the German helmets.
I look at these and can't help thinking Italian or Bosnian.

What a strange world we live in!! When I was a teenager I use to read science fiction and fantacies. I enjoyed it because the writers would create unbeliveable situations and events. None of these stories come near to real life today. If forty or fifties years ago you had prophtozied today's sitution you would have been put in a padded cell.!!

The world gets curiouser and curiouser.

NPD Father To Son

August 5 2004, 10:35 PM

On a side note the officer in the photo is Sgt. Frank Rossi, just back from Afganistan(did two tours). I knew his father who also was Sgt. Frank Rossi. His father was a Range instructor in the Police Department. So the son follows the father keeping a long line of sons who followed their father in police work. Anyone working at the Pru is safe with Frank on the job. As far as the helments go. My guess: the low bider on the contract.

The guy with the heater.......I think he has it on backward. The straps just don't look right.

Most people see military helmets with the camo-cover. These are uncovered and look strange but the real thing nonetheless. It's just a different style than what they're accustomed to seeing.
