Well my dad and Uncle Harry Edwards used to tell us that the Newark Bears accomplished that goal in the Little World Series in 1937 or 38. They lost three in a row at home to Columbus and then went to Ohio and swept the Cardinal triple a affiliate. Could someone shed some light on this? Is this story true?
