Sorry to say our request for a state grant to write the story of Roseville was not deemed worthy of a modest grant from the state Historical Commission. I had high hopes and I'm sorry I couldn't bring it home.

No sweat. We'll try another route. I have a few avenues to explore.

John, Joe is Right! There are other avenues to explore. We'll sit down and speak with Charles Cummings for advise on ways to get grant money.

Other ways

Please do that Dennis. I am more mobile now, recovering pretty well from the knee surgery, so if you want my in person input, I can most likely oblige.

There is also the possibility of approaching a commercial publisher. We are treading a line here between academic history and nostalgia which is sort of a new area, unfamiliar to many academic historians. We just have to convince someone of its merits. I think we can do that.
