Bill I'm a little unsure what you are saying to John. I believe you know that the North District Station or as we knew it growing up as the 2D Precient and prior to that it was the Fifth. the Emergency Services and Traffic Unit are housed in the new building. The Emergency Services is now part of the Homeland Security Division. The horses are long gone from No. 6th. Street. I believe they are still stabled down off of Green Street.

Dan, Bill was referring not to the current photo but the oldnewark.com website, which has been out of service a couple days. I have contributed some photos and other things there, and its webmaster Glenn Gersheimer has kindly allowed us access to his treasure trove of photos and material. There's a message board for that site at http://www.newarktalk.com/talk/index.php , and that's the "site" where Bill mentioned seeing me. Bill, as far as I know, Glenn is working on it; he mentioned on the message board that it "suffered some sort of attack." So go figure.

I just checked again and I see the oldnewark site is back up. I guess the attack was repulsed! That URL is http://www.oldnewark.com

Hello John. Nice to see you again yesterday down at Krug's. Just got in from work. Right now it is about 1:35am Monday. I just tried to get into the old newark site and it is still down. You can get into the home page but that's about it. When you try to get into the Guest Book nothing happens.
