I know the 2005 Jersey City St. Patrick's Parade is Sunday March 13th, as is West Orange. Tough choice, but must support my home town and the Dillon Association and Dillon's Pub.
New York is always the 17th, right? Is Belmar the 6th ? Nutley the 5th or 6th?
Maybe Newark is the 20th?
Where are you marching Danny Daily?

The Belmar parade is at 12:30pm on Sunday March 6th. I'll be marching with The Friendly Sons of the Shillelagh. We have a large St. Rose contingent attending. Come on down and have a great day.
Frank, My two favorite parades are Belmar and West Orange. Now that I live in Belmar, I prefer that parade for obvious reasons. Lake Como is 3 blocks from me. If you choose to attend you should park towards the beach and walk the few blocks to Main St. It is also better to be around the Lake Como area between 16th and 18th. That is right at the beginning of the parade. The key to parking is avoiding Main St. If you are thinking of coming down, e-mail me, and I'll give you specific directions.
Frank, Ocean City, MD has their St Patrick's Day parade on Saturday March 13 this year. The parade is fun but the evening activities are unbelievable!!
My son Mark lives at 711 21st Street in Lake Cuomo.
I will try to come. One of my co-workers is going to Sea Side for the parade
March 12th.
Believe it or not, I rode in the JC Puerto Rican Parade in August. They ride, not walk. They get floats or flat bed trucks. No bands, but sound systems. Different culture.
Hi Frank DAN DALY here. I'll be marching in the West Orange Parade with the Essex County Emeralds. I also will be attending the Morristown Parade on Saturday March 12, the Newark Parade on Sunday March 20, 2005 and will be hitting several places on the 17th. I'll be looking for you on the 13th. in West Orange.
The New York parade is always on St Patrick's day the 17TH
UNLESS the 17TH falls on a Sunday. Then it is held on Saturday the 16TH. We step off at about 10:30 AM It comes on TV at noon just as we (The Irish Brigade- The Fighting 69TH) reach the Cathedral. As most of our Brigade is on active duty in Iraq we'll probably have a small contingent
marching. I always look forward to the New York parade, rain, snow, sleet, sun whatever. The only thing that comes close is turning off of Broad St. in Newark to pass by
Mc Governs with the Imperial Lancers in the 60's. Had to
love those green uniforms! Actually ,nothing compares to New York!!! It's quite the experience.
The Hoboken St Patrick's Parade is this Saturday, March 5. It is truly one of the all-time great girl-watching events of the year. Erin Go, er, never mind. You get the picture.
