Memo from the North Pole

Santa Claus
from IP address 4.235.203.122

I'm writing this note to inform you
That taxes have taken away
The things I find most essential:
My workshop, my reindeer, my sleigh.

I now make my rounds on a donkey;
He's old and crippled and slow.
So you'll know if you don't see me Christmas,
I'll be out on my ass in the snow.

Santa Claus

Mr. Crowley, we are the official legal representatives of Mr. and Mrs. S. Claus. Mr. Claus has referred your complaint to us, and in the course of our research we came up with photographic evidence that as early as 1957, Mr. Claus had in fact given you a train set:

I am sure you recognize your brother Johnny and your grandmother, Minnie Stahler, in this photograph. Please note the Lionel train set in the background. In accordance with the Kringle Franchise Agreement of 1896, Mr. Claus is not obligated to restore gifts given in previous years. You may appeal this decision but run the risk of pissing off Santa. Merry Christmas.

Respectfully,
Dewey, Cheatham & Howe
NPLS
