From the Doris Flatley Collection comes this postcard image of Branch Brook in 1909. Pictured are the old Brringer High and the partially completed Sacred Heart Cathedral. Why the snowy image? I miss the winter already! Thanks, Doris.

Why

Why do the old pictures of the Cathedral show the towers incorrectly? The Cathedral of the Sacred Heart is the only major gothic cathedral having the bell towers at an angle to the rest of the building. This is the second "About" that I've seen showing the towers wrong. It's just a pet peeve but Grandpa was a stonemason who worked on the Cathedral.

Russ....this does depict the towers at an angle. Notice that the left side of the center archway is partially blocked by the left angled tower and that the top of that unfinished tower has a right corner that is higher than the rest of that level. I believe this shows it correctly by the perspective is off a bit.
