That building was on the same side of the street as the Macavoy courts.
There use to be a post office directly across the street and a candy store on the corner
That picture was probably taken in the early 1900's. If the McEvoy Courts were built, they would be seen behind this building, with the main entrance on Roseville Ave, the street on the right. Joe Reardon remembers the old post office and the candy store, the other corner of Roseville(not seen).
To the left there is a horse and wagon (maybe a hack waiting for a fare from the train station) Ironic, because up to the 60's, Taxi cabs still lined up in the same spot.
