Around 1948 television was just getting started .As I remember
There was a station in New York, I believe channel 5 Dumont
Television station. YOUR WINDOW ON THE WORLD.
I was very young, but to this day that slogan stayed with me.
Well that window has gotten much larger and that brings me to the point.
I have a window, a window on Newark. Just about every day for the past 3 years I have gaze at it. The truth is that I almost live for it I see more now and know more about Newark then I have ever had. I have contact with some of the most wonderful folks in the world. Many of whom I have come to feel like true friends

On my computer, I have three icons Newark Talks, Bodholt Diner
and the Newark Star Ledger. I start my day, and end it with all three.
I did not want this year to get started without saying thanks to all of you 100 cupers and you Bodholt Diner folks. But most of all for the magnificent people that administer those sites. You’re certainly #1 on my list. Your hard work is treasured
