I used to live down the street from Dickie Dee's, on 6th street. I had one everyday!! Single (works) and potatoe plate. Anyone remember Coca Cola Factory?? Use to jump the fence, take the bottles and open them on the water connection on the street! Thought we were sooooooooo cool! Calandras Bakery was awesome then. I worked there when I was 12!! Send me some memories!! Where is everyone from "66"??
Now I really want an Italian Dog! It was my pleasure to be one of the judges in the famous Dickie-Dee's/vs.Jimmy Buff's contest. They're always good anytime, anyday. I was an 11th Street person and hung around on Roseville Ave. and Orange Street, class of 68 Sr. Rita Damien. Most Sat. afternoons I made my way to either The Plaza or The Beacon Theater and just roamed the neighborhood the rest of the time----which you could do till the street lights came on in the Summer. Did you go to Rotunda Pool and the sprinklers in East Orange Oval Park? We were all so lucky to be able to just be "kids".
You still a 'bad' boy!? I'll sneak out of class and tell Girty Girt that is wasn't your fault. We were ALL in on it!! Damn-those were the days my friend!! You deseve a "double combo" from Dickie Dee's for being in detention all this time. Keep your hands "folded"-and no talking please.
Maybe it's time for you went to FR.FLUSK and confess your sins!!

I just got a chance to see your Grad picture and I remember you! I thought I knew you!!! Getting old though!!!!!!!!! See if you can spot me in "66" St. Damien's class?? Do you remember Katy Pomponio, Denise Tedesco, Mary Mooney (didn't go to our school), Roseanne Keele. We called ourselves "the clicque". Always in trouble with Girty Girt alias Gertrude James.
