For the past six years, SRL grads Donna and Linda Wagner have designated the second Sunday of August as
Point Pleasant Day. The extended Wagner-Parisi-McCree familes and friends have met at THE JENKS CLUB @ Jenkinmson's Pavillion on the boardwalk at 2 pm to hear the famous FLYING MUELLER BROTHERS. You see back in the 70's, the brothers were a well known rock group IMPACT and Linda Wagner was the lead singer.

The MUELLER BROTHERS are famous for getting children and adults alike up on the state to sing and play instruments with them. It is always a good time. Hopefully some of the patrons of the Dinner will be in the area and drop by. I believe Jenks has four bars and an area in the front that sells food.

Jenks Club and the Flying Mueller Brothers both have their own web sites. Five years ago Big Joe Henry hosted an Elvis impersonator contest right after the Muellers went off at 6 pm. Last year they had Elvis skydivers. They always have a lot going on. Hope you can make it.

I have been informed that this event was proclaimed by Linda Wagner alone. Hopefully this will be the year that Donna Wagner will join the festivities at Jenkinsons.

If the weather is nice Sunday, some of us will be meeting on the beach around 10 am. Then up to Jenkinsons www.jenksclub.com around 1 pm. The Flying Mueller Brothers www.flyingmuellerbrothers.com usually make their entrance around 2 pm. We have confirmations so far from 15 people. I promise this is my FINAL reminder.
